What makes this different from the regular pet shoulder bag?
The same bag, the same hand-beading — with a small gold halo beaded above their head, and the choice of clouds or the rainbow bridge beaded across the lower panel. If you'd rather have neither, choose "Halo only" or "No halo" and we'll bead a plain background instead.
My favourite photo of them isn't very sharp. Is that a problem?
Often not. Our artists work by hand, not from a machine trace, so a softer or older photo can still carry enough of their face to work from. Send the one that means the most — if we think another shot would capture them better, we'll say so gently before we start.
Can I add their dates as well as their name?
The beaded line holds up to 18 characters, so a name on its own, or a short name-and-year line, will usually fit. Tell us what you'd like when you reply to your mock-up and we'll show you exactly how it sits on the bag.
Can I include two pets I've lost?
Yes — up to two pets on one bag, each with their own halo. Add the second photo in the design steps above. And it doesn't have to be cats and dogs; we've beaded birds, horses, rabbits and more.
How long does it take?
Your mock-up arrives within 24 hours, and there's no time limit on approving it — take as long as you need. Once you say yes, hand-beading takes about 2–3 weeks, plus shipping. If the bag is for a particular date, tell us when you order and we'll be honest about whether we can meet it.
I'd like to give this to someone who's grieving. Can you help?
Yes, and it's one of the kindest gifts we make. Order it as you would for yourself, using their photo of the pet, and mention in your reply to the mock-up email that it's a gift — we'll keep the packing quiet and leave the pricing out.
